Chrysalis is part of an exploration of cycles of life, death and regeneration in the insect world. The photographs in this series unveil primordial organic shadows wrapped in luminous silk. These empty husks remain from the metamorphosis towards the imago of a crawling creature of the earth emerging as a weightless being of the air.
The photographs appeared floating in the space where they were installed through web-based augmented reality that can be seen on phone browsers.
